Bio

Claudia Goncalves stays true to her Brazilian roots with passion for surfing, love and life. At 24 years old she has landed 18th on the WQS, achieved fame on the Brazilian Juniors Circuit, won a WQS event in England and has graced countless magazines. She is competitive and proves the magic of goal setting. Claudia says, “Great goals make me stretch. They take me well beyond anything I could possibly imagine.” Although she takes her sport seriously, she doesn’t take herself seriously. She loves to go out and dance, laughs a lot and claims to be a “chocaholic.”

She will compete in the final WQS contests this season in Brazil and Hawaii with hopes of achieving her ultimate goal of qualifying for the WCT tour. She says, “Never give up your dreams.” It is certain we will see more of this professional surfer girl.
