Bio

The last couple years have been a whirlwind of promo shoots and non-stop competition for 18 year-old Julian Wilson. Pro-junior performances include a win and a perfect 10 in the inaugural international Pro Junior at Keramas in Bali, not to mention stand-out rides in Maui, Indo and Western Oz. This year he’Â™s on the hunt for his second World Junior title.

Already in 2008, Wilson took his second Junior Series win at the Billabong Pro Junior Series tournament, stop no. 9 in Wollongong. He won the third annual O’Neill Mission and took second at the Oakley Pro Junior North Stradbroke Island.

Earlier in the year he was awarded “ÂœBest Male Performance” at the 35th Annual Surfer Poll and Video Awards in Anaheim. Nominated alongside Andy Irons, Taj Burrow, Bobby Martinez and Dane Reynolds, Wilson’s high-intensity, action-packed segment in Young Guns 3 took top honors at surfing’s biggest night.
